Yes, you read that right. A new feature in Windows 8 is that you can pause and resume a copy process.
The copy window has a “pause” button, similar to the pause button in any player. Clicking the pause button starts the pausing process.
It might take a second or two to pause it fully.
Once paused, you can click on the same button to resume the copy job. You can also click the “close” button next to the pause button to cancel & close the copy process.
